These are two babies I had before Tony, Lucky, Toby and Prince.

Pinky was given to me and I brought Pinky home October 14, 1983 when he was 21/2 to 3 months old. He was so sweet and let me give him medicine and medicate his injuries without putting up and objection. I would open my arms and he would jump into them. He learned this all by himself. I went to visit my Mom soon before she died in September, 1989. Pinky left the house after my husband fed him breakfast and he never came back. We looked for him and had other people try to find him but to no avail. As you can imagine this was another sad time for me. I never let Tony out of the yard.

We bought Pete from a private owner October 20, 1983 when he was 4 months old. I loved him so much. We had such a strong bond. He had epilepsy for about a year and then came the day when nothing could stop the seizures. On September 30, 1992 I made the heartbreaking decision to send him to the Bridge. They came to the house to put him to sleep and they told my husband to take me out back because Pete could hear me cry and was fighting against the shot so he could stay with me. That was like a knife in my heart. I was sick for days and still cry when I think about my special Pete.
